Save the Date! Upcoming Open Q&A Session-Waterstone HOA
Posted on Jul 13th, 2021

Hi Neighbors,

Based on the recommendations from Red Rock and the HOA attorney, the community will be making some changes at the upcoming Annual meeting to ensure that we govern the community in accordance with our By-Laws and CCR's.  As a result, we have scheduled an informative meeting with Red Rock and the HOA's attorney to answer any questions you may have. This meeting is scheduled for July 22nd from 6:30pm-7:30pm and will serve as a Q&A session only.  We strongly encourage homeowners to read their respective set of By-Laws and CCR's and come prepared with any questions. Equally, all prospective Board nominees are also strongly encouraged to attend!

Below are some high-level topics that we'll be covering during the meeting:

Following elections in August, the Association will operate with as 2 separate and distinct boards; each Association consisting of their own President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer for a total of 6 Board members (3 on each Board).

How the change impact homeowners and future Boards:

  • Residents must live in the association they represent; for example, someone who owns a Single-Family residence cannot be on the Townhome Board and vice versa. If a homeowner owns multiple properties (Single Family and Townhome) they can only be on 1 Board.
  • Each Association will be responsible for managing and voting for issues that impact their respective areas; Single Family Board members will not be able to decide or vote on issues impacting the Townhomes are handled and vice versa.
  • Each Board Association will meet separately and for areas such as shared amenities, the Boards will need to come together and vote on those specific areas.
  • Separation of future Annual meetings.
  • Possibility of separate vendors servicing the Associations (i.e. Landscaping, Trash Removal, etc)

Outside of this informative Q&A session, in the upcoming weeks all residents will receive information on the Annual meeting that will be held on August 31st.  If you are interested in running for the board, please use the link below to be added to the ballot.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, please reach out to Red Rock at support@gowithredrock.com or 888-757-3376

We look forward to seeing everyone at this important, informative meeting!
